• State of birth: Indiana
• Education: University of Notre Dame, bachelor of architecture, 1984; postgraduate studies in architecture, 1987
• Awards: Owens received a local American Institute of Architects Excellence in Design Award for leading the design of Canterbury School’s Upper School, which opened last fall.
